Why did I fear that?
Instead of finding joy in seeing a life that I wanted my kind to have, I found myself fearing that very thing. As if I grew more protective in seeing the innocence in that child’s face. She didn’t know that outside that place, she couldn’t be happy about what she was. Her fox couldn’t run free, and it will be isolated the second she stepped out of place.
