Nyrissa took a deep breath before she turned to face Ryan's father. She gave him a rather bland, vacant smile that she knew he was expecting from her. She didn't have to guess that Arthur thought very little of her; or women in general.
"Hello, Arthur," she greeted him. "How are you enjoying your party?"
"Despite my dumbass son's attempt to ruin it. It's going rather well," Arthur replied with a look of disdain pointed at Ryan and Quentin.
