Frank's swing didn't stop once his intended target was gone; it didn't have time to react to the changes. It went plowing into Quentin's chest with a dull thud. Quentin didn't react at all as the blow landed. Instead, he stepped closer and grabbed Frank by the back of his neck, then began dragging him back down the hallway towards the stairwell.
“Think we need to have a private chat," he told Frank over his screaming.
There was: “LET ME GO!" Followed by: “B*TCH, YOU'LL NEVER SEE YOUR SISTER!"
That got him another fist in the stomach. The air rushed out of his nose and mouth in an audible whoosh.
“Ohhh... sorry, I thought you were choking," Quentin apologized to Frank with faux concern.
