Jazmin Ferrer had a one-night stand with a stranger because of her stupidity. After waking up, she ran away. As a result, she got pregnant and gave birth to a not so ordinary child. Jazmin didn’t know her son’s father’s origin and even had thought that the father of her son was not human. Five years later, she unexpectedly met the father of her son, Ezequiel Nightingale, and wants her and her son to bring her to the Celestial Continent that lies beyond the world, which she thought was just a myth. And the life she has will never be the same as before she met Ezequiel.

CHAPTER 1
EZEQUIEL NIGHTINGALE, the king of all werewolves, the Alpha of the Silver Shadow Pack and the Master of the Nightingale Palace of the Eastern Region of the Celestial Continent, was standing on the rooftop of the tallest building in the Human Realm. This human place was exactly different from them. Humans embraced modernity, while their race was still embracing the ancient way of living. The Human Race and Celestial Continent are entirely different. It was said in the Human Race that the Celestial Continent is a myth. A place that never existed for humans. Celestial was a peaceful place, but sometimes, they were disrupted by the hunters. The Human Race, who believed they existed, and wanted to eliminate them. Hunters were the nightmares of the supernatural beings. Hunters claimed they were righteous and always did everything they could to eliminate the vampires and werewolves, including other supernatural beings, in the Celestial, as they believed that the supernatural beings are born wicked, and should not exist in the world. Ezequiel sighed. He’s been in the Human Race for a year, looking for his mate, but hasn’t met her yet. The oracle foreseen that his mate was born in the Human Realm. He was losing his hope, but he didn’t want to return. So, he was still staying in the Human Race. Ezequiel looked below. From where he stood, he could see the whole city. The streetlights illuminating the streets, passing cars, pedestrians crossing the lane, some are couples, peers, and some are families. The streets are filled with people coming and going, some are hurrying to get to their next destination, others are leisurely strolling around. The air was filled with different smells coming from below. And the sounds of conversation and laughter filled the surroundings. The moon was hanging high in the sky, illuminating the whole world. A small smile appeared on his lips. It was similar to the Celestial, but it was different because, instead of cars, they used carriages, or they traveled by foot. They have unhuman speed, which was convenient for them to go to the place they wanted whenever they wanted to be. Later, a girl caught his attention. The girl was walking alone on the sidewalk. Her face showed she was not in a mood. He had a keen eye. Even at a far distance, he could see the girl’s face clearly. “What a beautiful girl,” he said as he was stunned because this was the first time that he appreciated humans’ beauty. ‘You’re done,’ his inner wolf said, teasing him. Ezequiel only smiled and ignored his wolf’s teasing. He watched the little girl walking alone, as if she had no life to look forward to. He’d been to many places. It was funny to think that he appreciated the little girl’s beauty, as if she was the most beautiful woman he had seen. ‘Isn’t she?’ “She is.” Ezequiel jumped from the rooftop and landed perfectly on his feet. He followed the little girl until they reached a resto bar. He was confused but still followed the little girl. The little girl sat on the counter and ordered a light drink. “This little girl…” Ezequiel shakes his head, “still young but already drinking.” Ezequiel assumed that the little girl’s age was only eighteen to nineteen years old. But even though she was already of the legal age to drink alcohol. For him, it’s not good for a lady to drink, especially when she is alone and outside. He didn’t know, but he got pissed thinking that this little girl was so unguarded of herself. What if there were bad guys who would harm her? Ezequiel was stunned at himself. Why am I worrying about her? He sniffed the air and the scent of the little girl entered his nostrils. The little girl’s scent was a mix of floral scent and mint. Her scent smells good. It was alluring that he wanted to smell more. But that was disrespectful, so he controlled his sense of smell. He walked to the empty stool beside the girl, he ordered a drink. “Not too strong.” The bartender nodded and made a drink for him. “Little girl, why are you drinking here alone?” Ezequiel asked after he sipped his drink. The little girl looked at him. Ezequiel was stunned when his silver pupil eyes met the little girl’s amber pupil eyes. His eyes slightly widened when he realized who the little girl in front of him was. When their eyes met, he saw the future with her. “Mate…” No wonder the oracle foretold that he would meet his mate in the Human Race. His mate was a human. He didn’t expect it. The little girl blinked her eyes. “What’s the matter?” she asked. Her voice was gentle. Ezequiel came back to his reverie. He didn’t expect that the little girl in front of him was his mate. His heart beats so fast. He didn’t know how to react. He was always calm. This was the first time he had become anxious. The little girl waved in front of his face. “What’s the matter with you?” Ezequiel stared at his mate. Then he blinked. “Why are you here and drinking?” he asked. His mate looked at her drink. She smiled bitterly. “I broke up with my boyfriend.” Ezequiel was stunned and his hand fisted. Luckily, it was an ex-boyfriend, otherwise he would kill that man. “Did he hurt you?” he asked, ready to avenge his little mate. “Tell me, why men cheat when their lover can’t give them what they need?” “Little girl, not all men are the same,” Ezequiel said, looking at his mate, but his mate only smiled bitterly and gulped her drink. “You’re handsome. What’s your name? I’m Jazmin, by the way,” she extended her hand for a shakehand. “Ezequiel.” Jazmin smiled. She propped her head using her hand. She only drank half of the glass, and yet she could feel the liquor was already in her system. She doesn’t drink, and this was the first time she drank liquor. She dumped her boyfriend, Adam, because she caught him in bed with a random woman. The reason why her ex-boyfriend cheated was that she couldn’t give him what he wanted. Her virginity. But she couldn’t just give it to him just because they had a relationship. She had the right to protect her dignity. “You’re drunk already? You haven’t finished it yet.” Jazmin let out a small sigh. “I don’t drink. This was my first time drinking.” She looked at Ezequiel. “Do you have a girlfriend?” Ezequiel smiled. “I don’t have one.” Jazmin smiled and faced Ezequiel. “Do you want to be with me?” Ezequiel’s mind went blank. “W-what did you say?” he asked, stuttering. Jazmin closed her eyes. She felt the liquor was consuming her system. “Tell me, if you have a girlfriend, will you cheat on her if she doesn’t give you her body?” A tear fell from her eyes. “My boyfriend cheated on me because I couldn’t give him what he wanted. Can love be measured by flesh and pleasure?” she asked. She remembered that her mother, before she passed away, had told her to preserve her virginity for her future husband because nothing was more valuable other than purity. Her mother also told her that if the man asks for her body before they get married, then there would be no future for either of them. It was just a platonic love. There was no real love. “Jazmin…” Ezequiel was disheartened to see his mate in tears. He wanted to wipe her tears, but he couldn’t because his mate might feel uncomfortable. “For a woman like me, dignity was important.” “If dignity was important, why are you asking me to be with you?” Ezequiel asked. Jazmin stared at Ezequiel. “You’re handsome.” Ezequiel smiled. His little mate was really drunk, or else, a girl who was in her right mind would never do this. “You’re pretty.” Jazmin closed her eyes. Ezequiel was quick to catch Jazmin before she fell from her seat. A small smile appeared on his lips. He paid for the drinks and carried his mate out of the resto bar. He didn’t know where Jazmin lives, so he could only take her to the condo where he lives. He deposited Jazmin on the bed and put the quilt on her. He was about to leave when Jazmin held his hand, stopping him from leaving. “Don’t leave…” Jazmin opened her eyes. She pulled Ezequiel and he fell on her. Ezequiel immediately pushed himself, but Jazmin encircled her arms on his neck. His eyes widened when Jazmin pressed her lips against his. He was stunned, but he felt like something pushed him to move his lips and he did. He knew that this was not the right thing to do, but the urge of his desire was now consuming him. Jazmin tilted her head, exposing her neck. Ezequiel gulped and couldn’t stop himself from kissing Jazmin’s neck. But then he stopped and tried to push himself away. He wanted to get away from his mate before he would do something he would regret. “Ezequiel, don’t leave.” Jazmin stopped him by embracing him. Ezequiel took a deep breath. “Jazmin, let me go.” He started to breathe heavily. Jazmin opened her eyes. “Don’t you want me?” Ezequiel fell into silence. “Jazmin…” he was losing control of himself. “Please…” Ezequiel closed his eyes and kissed Jazmin. He stopped controlling himself and gave what his mate wanted. They both closed their eyes and did the deed. WHEN JAZMIN woke up the next morning, she was startled when she opened her eyes and saw a handsome man lying beside her. And she was more startled when she found out that she was naked under the quilt. She felt soreness in her body and pain in her womanhood. Jazmin was grimacing while pushing her body to get up. She facepalmed. What the hell goes inside your mind, Jazmin? What stupidity have you done? Sighing, Jazmin tried to remember what happened. She could only smack her forehead when she remembered that it was her who took the initiative last night. “Stupid, Jazmin.” Jazmin looked at the man lying beside her. I should stay here. Jazmin was wincing while trying to get out of bed. Her womanhood was in pain but it was bearable. She bore the pain and put on her clothes and left the room. Fortunately, the man she had a one-night-stand with didn’t wake up. When she arrived at her house, she immediately took a shower. She was hoping she would never meet that man again. She just lost her virginity like that. She never let her ex-boyfriend touch her and yet, because of one glass of liquor, her virginity was gone. “Jazmin, you’re so stupid.” It was the stupidest decision in her life, to get drunk. She swore that she would never drink liquor again. Yesterday was the first and last time she would drink liquor.
