CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
He wasn’t supposed to say it just yet. This felt too fast and I was definitely not ready for it. For a full ten seconds, my brain stopped functioning.
“W-Why are you giving me that look?” The first hint of fear was present in his voice.
“T-This wasn’t supposed to happen tonight. Its all so rushed and too soon. I-I need a minute,” I didn’t wait for his answer or reaction as I detached from him, blinding rushing away from the campsite.
I had no idea where I was headed but all I knew was that I needed to process this new twist in my life, at least make it make sense in my head because being around him and all those people was making it hard for me.
