CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT I hated the look in her eyes and I hated that I could not decipher what exactly it meant. Her expression seemed almost confused yet sad and vulnerable. Was she mad at me for leaving so suddenly? Was she sad that I had to leave? What exactly was going through her mind?   “So, you are leaving tomorrow,” she eventually spoke, tucking her wet hair back.   “Yeah.
