Chapter 41
Aubrey had not mentioned the details of her and Milton's disappearance to neither of her parents. She didn't feel the guilt. Love was in the air. If Damian delayed marking her she was going to do it herself. They, her parents, also had not told Milton why they visited. She wanted to give them ample time to work on what they were going to tell him.
"Where did you and my dad go the other day?" Tina asked her daughter.
They were in her bedroom. She had a laptop on the bed and a glass of juice with some snacks on the bedside table. Her back was supported by a pillow on the wall. And earphones in her ears. Tina plucked the earphones out of her daughter's ears.
“Mum!" Aubrey complained.
"Am talking to you" Tina said.
"And am listening mum... He told me not to talk about it" She
