As I get closer to Emma's house, the more relaxed I begin to feel. My parents really know how to break me down whenever they see me. I don't understand why they can't be normal parents, like Emma's. What I wouldn't do to have parents who were actually proud of me, who take care of me, who love me. Emma's parents are the type of parents that I want. They live for their children. They love the little moments in life and do not escape from their children. That is the parent I want to be. I want to have children one day, and show them what love feels like. Never will they wonder if they are good enough. Never will they wonder if I am proud of them. My kids will never have a doubt in their mind. I swear to that.
