School without Emma in it has been dreary. I never could have imagined the impact Emma has on so many people. I hear teachers addressing their concerns for her. Even the office assistants were teary eyed after learning about her accident. Mrs. Russo was a sniffling mess when it came time for her class. The whole school sympathized and I am floored by how much she impacted certain people. The whole entire week was just hell for me.
I saw Melanie every single day and it looked like her world was destroyed. I could see she loves Emma with all her heart. Melanie continued to walk around glassy eyed and pale, but Kevin was right there by her side comforting her. He even looked as pale as a ghost. It looked like he hadn't slept at all. He was even given some time off from his football practice
