“Finally…” Emz said before she hugged me while we’re facing the full length mirror in front of us. “This is it, Abby. Your happily ever after.”
“Yes, this is it.” I replied as we both got teary eyed.
“You both should stop or it’ll ruin your makeups.” Carmela interrupted and we hugged her too. “I’m so happy for the both of you.”
“Thanks.” We said in chorus and chuckled.
Then she looked at me lovingly. “You’ve been through a lot, Abby. You should know that you deserve all of this.”
“Agreed. Our dearest Abby, you deserve the best of everything.” Emz added and I mouthed ‘thanks’ to both of them. They’ve always been there since day one and they’ve never stopped caring and loving me. I’ll always feel grateful and blessed to have them in my life.
