"I don't want to be with Lucinda, I am not happy with her. If I can get to spend time with Charl, then I am happy. I want you and I want my son," he said as his eyes welled up with tears. "Don't do this to us."
"Your son is so adorable, professor," Cynthia said, as she joined us. I looked away. "Are you ready to go back home?" she asked me.
I nodded, "Yes," I said, without looking at Arden.
" I'm going to miss Lana, she is leaving New York," I scowled at Cynthia.
"What?" Arden asked with surprise.
"Can we please just leave?" I asked Cynthia.
