Lana's POV
I was told to eat and rest. The doctor booked me off for a week. When I woke up, all I could think about was Arden. I last saw him before I blacked out. I wanted to know if he was real and not a dream. Uncle Mariko said he was real, and both of my uncles know that I'm pregnant. There was still no sign of my mother. I guess I just have to get used to being on my own.
Uncle Mariko picked me up from the hospital. I still wonder why Arden hadn't seen me since being in the hospital seemed that my uncle told me that he wanted to be here for me. My uncles said that they didn't inform him of the pregnancy because it was my decision to tell him. Apparently, when the doctor spoke to them, Arden was a bit further away to hear anything.
