30 : Vanessa's POV
After leaving Everly and Fernando, I walked into the room to see no sign of Lucifer. He must've been doing work or continued his lunch with his associates. My memory became sharp as I recalled the book underneath the sink.
I walked back into the restroom and when the motion detector sensed my entrance, the lights flickered on and music that I've come to memorize began to play.
I walked over to the sink and bent down after opening up the cabinet. My eyes skimmed over the makeup until I saw the book. I pulled it out from under there, and walked to go lock the door before sitting down on the countertop.
I pulled the cover open to see a page that had the familiar writing. I looked at the first word and anxiously began reading;
