LAVENDER’S POV I sighed as I darted my gaze to Damon who is blocking the door for me to not be taken photos of the press who are present tonight. I can see him effortlessly posing for the photographers whom I know have taken enough pictures of him tonight. It’s as if he is giving me time to decide if I’m going with him or not. I know for sure that if I choose to not come with him, I will lose my chance of having a one-week paid leave. And it’s ridiculous of him to still give me time when I notice that the people outside are starting to notice him staying near the car. I could see curiosity in their eyes as they directed their cameras in the direction of the car I was in. Good thing that the car’s windows are heavily tinted. It’s the only thing that is protecting me from the press right
