"What about the furniture?" Alec asked.
I tapped my pen on the desk rapidly as I stared at the clock on the wall.
"Setson?" Alec asked.
Fu.ck. Where is Violet? She should be here by now.
"Setson!" Alec shouted.
"What?" I replied.
Alec gave me an incredulous look.
"Ha... seriously?" He muttered. "The furniture? Do you want to change anything?"
"No, everything is fine." I said with the wave of my hand.
"Okay, what about for your new secretary?" Alec asked.
"Who knows if she's even going to come," I mumbled.
Alec chuckled.
"Her hour isn't up yet," he said.
"She has three minutes left," I replied with narrowed eyes.
"Yes, I know, because you haven't taken your eyes off the clock since we got here," Alec sai
