This can't be real. No way that this is happening. But it has to be.
Violet is right here, right in front of me. I can reach out to touch her if I want. I can see that smile of hers again. That sweet voice was like music to my ears.
Seeing Violet again lit up every fiber of my being. Every part of me that I thought was dead suddenly started to vibrate with anticipation. One look at Violet, and I'm already trapped.
Which only fueled my anger.
How is it fair that she turned me into a heartless man, and then comes back into my life to make me feel this way? Is she doing this on purpose? Is this just bad luck? Why does she look so damn sad about seeing me again?
