"It's too early for this," Alec complained as he plopped onto the chair in my hotel room.
"This is later than we get up any other Monday." I replied as I finished tying my tie.
"Yeah, but only by an hour. Work usually starts at 9, and this meeting starts at 10. It's not enough." He whined.
I turned around to face Alec.
"Then stay here," I said with a shrug.
"You don't want me to go?" He asked incredulously.
"That's not what I said," I replied. "I can go on my own. You only came to help me with last minute things when our new offices are ready."
