James was horrified when Garie disappeared from the surface of the water as if something pulled her under.
“Margareth!”
James looked at the others and when he knew they were in a much better situation, he took off his bag and dived into the water.
Garie, on the other hand, tried to look down on what was dragging her down. And then she saw the ugly mutated mudskipper-looking creature that had its little arms around her feet. It looks like it was baring its teeth at her, as it pulls her down.
Garie tried to wiggle out but another of the same creature just appeared and grabbed her other foot. She was trying to conserve air and quickly pulled out her combat knife. She bends over and tries to stab one of the creatures. She was able to stab one but the other bit her leg.
