Gwen looks toward my uncle and nods.
“He knew for a while,” she said, while turning to face me. Her eyes softened while she continued. “It seems your father came to the office one day with blood on his hands. He told the Alpha that he was dealing with a prisoner.”
Gwen moved slightly in her seat, while Lyla came closer to listen to what else she had to say. “Alpha Robert didn’t think anything about it but when you didn’t show up to the ceremony as it was an order by himself that everyone should show up and you never came. He put to two and two together.”
My stomach churned at her words.
