Chloe was with her mother, Josephine. The woman had been seen leaving the pack over two weeks without a word. Why would she be meeting her away from the pack?
I looked back at my friends, wondering if I should tell them but I needed confirmation I heard what Danielle had told me.
“Are you sure Daniell? It is Josephine she is with?”
“Yes, alpha,” she said with a grunt. “But they are not alone. A man has also joined them, but I don’t know who he is. Never seen him before, but he does smell like a rogue.”

Who the hell was he?
Was he the one she met the other time?
Clearing my throat, I needed to know. “Can you hear what they are saying Dan,” I asked, glancing at my friends.
