TWO YEARS LATER…
Walking through the dark halls, I let my eyes skim to the door that I needed to go through.
Ever since that damn wolf and witch came here, I have been excited by the news they had given me.
A white wolf has appeared —not one, but two: mother and daughter, which isn't common, but it is for that family.
Images of my life over the years flood back to what that kind of wolf would bring. I mean, endless power.
The only problem is, neither of them showed power. The power of the moon goddess.
The damn wolf never brought up this girl, never in the time we were working behind his family's backs. He knew of our story; the witch had told him. I knew it since her father was my ward; she let alone her sister, was not to be messed with, and he had told her sister.
