Her words echoed around my head, while I tried to wrap my head around the fact she was standing before me, like an old friend. “Hello young alpha, it is so good to see you again.”
Jake growled loudly in my head, while I tried to calm my inner thoughts but blurted out to him to keep calm. “Remember what dad had told you. You need to calm down, move back into my head. Stay there, let me deal with this.”
Jake growled again, only lowly till he let my words sink in and moved back into my head till I couldn’t feel or sense him close by.
Thank Goddess, but I had to keep focused on what was going on in front of me.
