Madaline looked to the floor and then back at him. “She has a mate. She and her mate have some weird mate bond, though. They like to sleep around and hurt one another.”
“It is like a game to them to see who can cause more harm,” she said with a hint of disgust. “The worst part is they always end up together after tormenting and torturing each other.”
“That is so wrong on so many levels,” Gwen muttered. “Why play such heinous games like that with their wolves? It’s unheard of.”
