My eyes stayed on the door, where my daughter had gone through.
There was no way all that information would not take a toll on her. Her need not to look back made me proud of how far she had come in the last two weeks. She has been taking everything in her stride and has improved.
Our training has caught most of the pack members’ attention since there are now two white wolves in the pack. We had gathered a crowd when we do and many times it has been something to see when my daughter even takes down her uncle with force. Part of me wonders if she has someone in mind when she is attacking. My poor brother has been on his ass more times than I can count.
“It was funny to watch though,” Lynx murmured, which only made me smile.
