Stepping onto the training grounds, everyone was there.
I could see my friends all huddling together, except for Lee. I walked toward them but stopped when I spotted Chloe. She was making a show about being there, especially with what she was wearing—sports bra, short shorts and not to mention the makeup she had on. Why would she be dressed up like that?
Jake growled, before saying, “Because you have been neglecting her. She is trying to get your attention, even though she looks like she caked that stuff on her face.” I held back my laugh, even though I had to admit, he was right with the makeup she was wearing. It looked awful and knowing exactly how sweaty we were all about to be, that stuff was coming off and was going to make her a lot worse than she is now.
