Once the door closed, I let out a growl. I knew Aidan was lying, he could never lie to me but he did today. I knew why he wouldn’t tell me who it was, he was protecting his friends.
Part of me was stunned he blamed he mentioned a few pack members, but not Chloe. Everything in me was telling me to have it out with him, but during the drive back, even though I was going to have it out with him, I knew I would have to find proof about all the abuse Mia received here.
Gwen, Alpha Sam’s pack member who had been here, may have some but I wanted to wait for a little while before asking her for what she had.
Sinking into my chair, I felt my wolf come closer and growl. “Our pup lied to us. We need to punish him for what he did.”
“I know. But we need to wait.”
