41. Inconsciousness Michelle I returned to the room and looked for Dylan. I find him at the other end, animatedly chatting with the people with whom he has finally closed the deal. With determination, I headed towards him. “This deserves a toast,” my boss's new partner comments enthusiastically. And his proposal is well-received, and immediately, someone calls a waiter who approaches with a tray full of glasses. “Come on, Michelle! Join us,” Dylan calls me, extending one of the drinks to me. I take the glass with a smile and raise it with the others. “Cheers! And here's to many successes in the future,” we toast in unison before bringing the liquid to our lips. I watch Dylan closely.
