As I watch my little student attempt a jump, I turn my head toward the entrance and find three pairs of eyes watching me intently.
“Susy, let's take a break for a moment,” I say to her with a smile.
The girl nods, beaming, and Abdiel approaches to take her for a drink.
“Candace? Hi, baby!” My voice fills with tenderness as I see my daughter, who looks at me with curiosity.
“Hi, mommy! Is this where you train?” she asks, her eyes shining with excitement.
I smile and nod.
“Yes, my love, it is. Do you want to skate with me?”
