After Ace dropped her off at the Inn, Kate went inside her room and sat on her bed, a smile gracing her lips.
"My child, I finally found the courage to accept Ace as my mate and come with him to his pack," she said, then took the urn in her arms and embraced it tightly.
"You're okay with it, right?" she whispered while tenderly caressing the urn as if her child would answer her.
"Kate, are you there?" Kate heard Evelyn ask outside of her room. She quickly put the urn back and opened the door.
