"Kate?" Evelyn called outside Kate's room. When she couldn't hear her answer, she spoke again. "I'm going to open the door, okay?" Evelyn slowly turned the knob and pushed the door open. Her eyes quickly scanned for her friend, but Kate wasn't on her bed. Evelyn was about to panic remembering the scene in the hospital, but she saw Kate sitting in the corner of the dark room, hugging the urn in her chest and her tears streaming down her face. "E-Eve…" Kate cried and looked at her friend. "Oh, Kate," Evelyn said and ran towards her, hugging her tightly. "I'm here," she whispered while rubbing Kate's back. "W-Why is he here?" she whispered.
