Kate watched the bustling street of Bleakhallow, where people were walking back and forth. Her hand rested under her chin, and sighed for the nth time.
"You missed him?" Evelyn appeared beside her and gave her a caramel frappe. Kate was surprised by her sudden appearance but took the drink regardless.
"I don't know," Kate answered and heaved another sigh, making Evelyn raise her eyebrows.
"What a vague answer, Katie, and you're sighing here, looking like you're about to cry for what?" Evelyn teased, and Kate pouted her lips. "Alpha Khai's inside. He wanted to talk to you," she added. Kate sipped on the drink first before going back inside.
