Jasmine's face turned into a frown as she woke up to find an empty bed. Thorne didn't sleep in their bedroom last night, and Jasmine found it infuriating. She knows Thorne was hiding from her that he was looking for the mate he rejected.
When Lander left the packhouse, Jasmine followed a few minutes later and called her friend. She went out and got inside the car.
"Hannah, I need to talk to you," Jasmine said and began driving away.
"Okay, where?" Hannah asked.
"To your house. I'm coming there," Jasmine said and ended the call. She arrived five minutes later and hurriedly got out of the car. Hannah greeted her, and they both went to Hannah's room.
"What is it, Jas? You looked tensed," Hannah asked. Jasmine couldn't sit still and started pacing back and forth in Hannah's room.
