At lunch, Ayden and I took off in seperate cars. There was no point in riding together when we were headed over to that place. We didn’t tell anybody that we were leaving, either. Well, Jesslyn found out, but of course that was something that we talked about in front of her.
As I was driving to Death Valley, I got an incoming call from Adonis on my phone.
“Damn, Jesslyn.” I whispered as I grabbed my phone and answered it. “What?”
“You already know, so why do it?” Adonis asked. “He got you that mad to the point you take him there?”
“Dude, it’s just a duel between us, brothers.”
“Well, your cousin is coming along with your father and uncle. How’s that?”
