When she realized it wasn't a photo but a sonogram of her unborn pup, she gaped and covered her mouth with her hand. There wasn't just one, but a bunch of them. Due to the accident, she’d had far too many check-ups and sonograms, all of those sonograms were there in this room.
“Our baby is so pretty,” Xavier murmured from behind while Kiara was touching one of the sonograms. When she nodded in agreement, her eyes were filled with tears. The moon appeared to be a bit out of place in the sky.
