Cole Jack was exactly where I expected him to be. At the vineyard. The gravel crunched beneath my boots as I made my way toward Jack’s office. As much as I loved the smell and the beauty of the grapevines that stretched out in every direction, today it didn’t calm me. My nerves were shot and while I believed I wasn’t one to get rattled easily, today was simply different. Today, I was here to talk to Jack about Tori. I reached the small building that had been newly built for Jack – I had my suspicions about why this office had been built apart from the main building, but I wasn’t about to comment on it. The door was slightly ajar, but I still knocked. “Come in,” Jack called out, and I stepped inside to see Jack sitting behind his desk with a stack of paperwork and a steaming cup of coffee
