I was still lost in thought, but when Cole shifted in his seat, it brought me back. I met his gaze, and he nodded. Silently encouraging me to continue.
“It was just after that when I realized that Adam took up all of my time. I went to classes and that was it. Everything else was with him. I hadn’t seen my friends since month two of my relationship. In fact, aside from my dormmate, Adam was basically the only person in my world. I also realized that I hadn’t spoken to Jack in months…”
“Oh…” Cole didn’t look impressed. In fact, he probably had a good idea of what was coming.
