Scene 9
Angel pulled herself up off the bed and slipped into her school uniform, and shoes, and slipped out of the house.
She stopped at the doughnut bar on Bridge Lane, on the way to high school.
‘I’ll have two strawberry doughnuts and a coffee make it strong.’
‘Sure.’
The waitress with the most ridicules outfit that she’d ever seen placed two strawberry doughnuts on a plate then poured the coffee in to a mug with milk. ‘That’ll be three dollars chick.’
‘Here.’ Angel said passing it to her.’
The waitress smiled taking the money off her placing it in the till. Angel scooped three sugars into her coffee stirring it placing the spoon on the counter.
‘Why don’t you come and join me?’
