While Carl was still deep in thought, Klaus had clenched his fists tightly, causing his knuckles to c***k loudly. He said in a grim voice, "Carl, thank you for all your help. You don't have to bother about me anymore, since this wasn't your problem to begin with. All of you can leave."
Carl stared blankly at Klaus for a moment before realizing that Klaus intended to fight the Wind Roaring Beast himself and did not want to implicate the rest of the group. That was not something that Carl was going to allow the beastman to do.
The young man got a little angry as he said, "Klaus, didn't you say you wanted to repay us for saving you? We're about to fight the devils and we really need you now, but you're going to abandon us just like that? How could you be such an ingrate?"
