Dorothy glared unhappily at Carl. “Weren’t you going to use my formula to make the drug I told you about? Why are you going back on your word now?”
Carl had a twinkle in his eye as he said, “I was just listening to your suggestion. I didn’t say I was going to listen to it.”
“If you weren’t going to listen, why did you tell me to get those ingredients?” Dorothy gnashed her teeth angrily.
“That’s because I can use the ingredients you were going to get.” Carl did not give Dorothy any chance to use her formula and stopped her from arguing further. “Stop wasting time. Help me to process these herbs now.”
