Even though the cabin was small and it was difficult for Carl to swing his sword properly, he still leaped in anyway, running after the pirates who ran frantically away from him.
As he attacked the pirates, he noticed that the pirates’ fear of him was helping to nourish the Seed of a Demon inside his head.
He was only making use of his swordsmanship and he could already make them so fearful of him. This was a pleasant surprise.
Of course, this was possible mostly because these pirates were really poor at fighting.
