Carl turned to see a man dressed in servant robes glaring at him with a nasty expression.
The servant shouted again, "Didn't you hear me? You should not be here! Get out now!"
Carl sighed quietly and explained in a calm voice, "My name is Carl and I need to talk to His Grace."
"Carl? Who's that? I've never heard of any Carl! Get lost now! NOW!" The servant waved at Carl menacingly and threatened him, "If you don't leave now, I'm going to call the guards to throw you out!"
The look in Carl's eyes turned frosty as he emphasized his words. "I need to talk to His Grace about something very important."
"Are you deaf? Can't hear what I just said?" The servant became even angrier now and reprimanded Carl, "Who do you think you are? You think you get to see His Grace just because you want to?
