Skyler’s POV
We were all getting ready for battle. Everyone over the age of 15 was equipped and ready to wreak havoc on anyone and anything that would dare harm our home.
All the wolves in my pack are taught how to fight before they could walk. The age requirement to fight in a battle was at the age of 13 when you first get your wolf. That all changed a few generations later. One of my ancestors didn’t want their twin sons to fight in a war that was brewing, so they changed the age limit to fifteen. It may have only been created out of selfish reasons but, it allowed the newly formed wolves to get a little more comfortable with their wolf and shifting. It was a good decision in the end, but anyone who believed they could take on a Silvercrest wolf, even if they are 13, was a fool.
