Kane’s POV
The rogues snarled back, answering the challenge
I didn’t wait for them to come to us.
I shifted, my wolf roared so loud it shook the walls, a sound of pure war.
Zack shifted at my right, Lucas followed on my left. Together, we charged.
The rogues surged forward to meet us. Claws clashed, teeth tore. The world became blood and snarls and the sound of ripping flesh.
Rafe barreled into the first wolf, my claws tearing through his chest. Blood sprayed hot across the dirt. Another lunged at my flank but Zack slammed into him from the side, ripping his throat out with one savage bite.
Lucas leapt over us both, landing on a rogue twice his size. His jaws closed around the wolf’s skull, snapping bone with a loud c***k.
