Kane's POV The healer's camp disappeared behind us as we headed for Moonclaw. Morning air was sharp, horses' hooves steady on the frozen dirt, warriors moving in quiet formation. I rode up front with Zack on one side, Lucas on the other but my thoughts were behind me, in that carriage in the middle of our column, where Ava was resting.
