Mark's POV
I walk around at the function event. I cleaned myself up and shaved. I wear my black tux. Guests arrive and chat with each other. The function is outdoors, where everyone can mingle. Small high tables are scattered where some guests are standing around, drinking champagne and whatever they have ordered at the outdoor bar. The pool is huge in the center and the lights inside of it shine, making the water bluer in the dark. I spot Sam and the interns. I continue to look around in the crowd for my friends. The air is a cool breeze. The sky is darker with stars scattered and a full bright moon. I hope that Gray is looking at the stars and the moon at this same moment. Just thinking about her makes me miss her more. Waiters serve guests champagne and snacks on trays.
