All I Want For Christmas

Olivia's P.O.V. "Ollie baby, can you take these trays of cupcakes around to your auntie Leanne's house for me, please?" "Cupcakes? I thought auntie Leanne was on a diet, so that she could fit into that red dress for New Year's?" I ask my mom in confusion. "She is, sweetheart, these are for a lady at her work who is doing one of those baby reveals for her daughter" My mom says and I chuckled. "It's a gender reveal, mom, not a baby reveal...I think it's safe to say that we know for sure that her baby is in fact a baby unless she's been having an affair with an animal or an alien" I say and my mom chuckles. "Yeah, I guess you're right, honey" You guess? of course, I'm right, mom. I thought to myself with a smile as I shook my head. I then grabbed hold of the three trays of delicious-looking cupcakes from the kitchen island and headed out of the back door so that I could get to the McKenzie's residence even faster. My parents have lived next door to their best friends, Bruno and Leanne McKenzi,e ever since they graduated from college together over thirty years ago. The four of them are so close that when they purchased their houses together, my dad and uncle Bruno created this pathway between the two houses connecting them so that we can easily go into one another's homes whenever we want to without any issues. I know this may sound weird and kind of strange and crazy because what if they decided to sell their properties one day in the future, well, this won't be a problem because neither couple are planning on moving from their homes because they wanna remain in the home where they raised all of their kids and they wanna raise their grandchildren here as well. This pathway has also been really handy for my twin brother Tyler and me because the both of us are extremely close with our auntie and uncle's twins Colton and Demi. We've been best friends with the twins ever since we can remember and Colton and I have been in a relationship with each other for the past three years, ever since we were fifteen years old, so living next door to each other has been really good for all three of us and has helped us to form a really tight bond with one another. Anyway, I walked through the pathway and headed inside of my boyfriend's home where I was met with nothing but silence which is weird considering this place is never quiet and is always buzzing with people and noise. I'm over here all of the time either hanging out with Colton and our friends or sleeping over here and it's always a nightmare to get any peace and quiet around here. The funny thing is that the only people who live here are my auntie and uncle and their kids who are all adults, there aren't any younger children living here and the only animal they've got is my handsome man's English Bulldog Lizzie, whom Colton named after the late Queen of England but Lizzie is too freaking lazy to make any kind of noises. Don't get me wrong, I love Lizzie and she's a really lovely dog but if someone was to ever break in here and try to rob the place, then the McKenzies would be f****d with Lizzie guarding this place. "Hello, is anyone home?...uncle Bruno, auntie Leanne" "Oh, hi there, honey, what are you doing here?" Auntie Leanne asks me as she enters the kitchen with a huge smile on her face. "Hi auntie, my mom sent me over here to give these to you for your friend" I say and she gasps as she eyes up the yummy-looking cupcakes in my hand. "Oh wow, thanks Ollie, these look amazing" "Of course they do, auntie, they were made by the best baker in Colorado" "Yes, they were" She says with a chuckle. "Nobody bakes delicious sweet treats quite like your mom, Ollie baby...I'm surprised I'm not the size of a house after being her best friend for all of these years" "Well, that's because you've got self-restraint, auntie because you know you've gotta keep up that figure of yours for uncle Bruno" I say and she shooed me away with her hand. I know I may sound biased here because we're talking about my mom, so I'm obviously gonna say she's the best baker in the state but she honestly is and her awards and clientele list are proof enough of how great she is. My mom has got hundreds of celebrities names on her books from all over the world and it's all thanks to one single actress who had visited our bakery when she was in town to shoot a movie and she loved my mom's creations so much that she not only orders huge amounts of treats all year round but she also recommends us to all of her famous friends as well, so I think it's safe to say that my mom is the best baker in Colorado or at least in Boulder she is anyway. "Is Colton home by any chance, auntie? I haven't seen or heard from him since last night and he's not answering any of my calls or texts either" "Really?" My auntie asks sounding genuinely shocked before she said something which made us both chuckle. "That doesn't sound like our little lovesick puppy, does it?" Ever since Colton and I first started dating, our mothers and my best friend Demi have called him a lovesick puppy because apparently, he's always looking for me and begging for my attention even when he's not around me. This was later backed up by my own twin brother, Tyler and our friends who call him this as well because of how obsessed he is with me and also because of how much he acts like a wounded puppy whenever we're apart or I'm angry with him. "Anyway, I think Colton is downstairs in his mancave with Tyler and the boys, he was down there the last time I spoke to him which wasn't too long ago" "Ok, thanks auntie" I say whilst kissing her on the cheek. "You're welcome, honey" My auntie said as I headed towards Colton's mancave which is basically just the basement that my auntie and uncle had remodelled and converted into this beautiful and magnificent private space for his seventeenth birthday, so that he would have somewhere to hang out in peace with either me and or our friends. Anyway, I headed downstairs and was just a few steps away from the door to the mancave when I heard a lot of angry shouting coming from inside which left me feeling confused, especially when I heard a familiar voice which I wasn't expecting to hear. What the hell is she doing here in my boyfriend's home?. "I can't believe you disgusting assholes...I mean, I genuinely can not believe you guys, especially you two who are supposed to love and adore Ollie more than anything and yet here you are being so mean and evil and...and...and heartless to her" "Oh relax, It's just a little bit of fun, Demi, it's nothing serious" "Yeah, we just wanted to have some fun in this boring ass town, that's all" Chelsea, the school's resident bike said in a snarky tone which was no match for my bestie's angry voice. "Shut the f**k up, slut, this isn't fun, it's cruel" "Hey, watch your mouth, Demi, Chelsea isn't a slut" Colton growls shocking me. Wait, did he just...did he just defend this girl?. I thought to myself as Demi chuckled. "Sure she's not, Colt and the Pope's not a catholic either" Demi says and I just knew that she was rolling her eyes as she spoke. "You need to chill out, Demi, none of us meant any harm by doing this, we just wanted to have some fun like Colton and Chelsea said" "Fun, Tyler?" Demi asked sounding shocked and furious. What Demi said next left me feeling many different emotions, mainly, shocked, heartbroken, dirty and disgusted. "You disgusting morons made a bet to see if Colton could get Ollie to fall in love with him and then give him her virginity on graduation night" What?. Colton made a bet to date me and take my virginity?. "It's not like that, Dems" Colton said and he had the nerve to sound hurt as he spoke. "Oh really, Colton? then please explain to me what it's really like then because from where I'm standing, it sounds exactly like what it is, you using my best friend and Tyler's twin sister for a stupid f*****g bet" Demi growls and Colton huffs in annoyance and frustration as Boulder's resident hoe decided to jump in and make things ten times worse if that's even possible. "You're right, it's exactly what it sounds like, Demi" "Chelsea..." Tyler and Colton growled in unison before being cut off by an angry yet very smug-sounding Chelsea. "Relax guys, it's gonna come out sooner or later anyway, so we may as well just tell her now and get it over and done with" "Tell me what?" Demi asked and there was a brief silence before Chelsea once again spoke up and what was said next not only broke my heart but it blew it into smithereens as well. "Colton doesn't love or care about Olivia, Demi, he never has and he never will, if anything, he sees her as more of an annoying younger sister than a girlfriend" "What? is this a joke?" Demi asks with a gasp. "No, it's not" Chelsea says with a bored sigh. "We knew Ollie loved Colton, so we made a bet that he couldn't get her to fall in love with him and give up her V card for graduation which he happily accepted, in fact, I think his exact words were consider it done, it'll be a piece of cake to get obsessive Ollie to believe what I say and do what I want because she's that obsessed with me...I mean, the girl would literally jump off a bridge if I asked her to, Chels" Obsessive Ollie? is that what they've been calling me behind my back?. "We were just having a laugh, Demi, get over it" "You wanted to have a laugh?...this isn't funny, b***h, it's downright cruel" Demi said and Chelsea scoffed. "Oh, get off your high horse, Demi before I..." "Before you what? finish that sentence, hoe, I dare you" Demi growled at Chelsea. "You'd better back off, Dems and leave Chelsea alone, right now" Colton growled and my heart hurt because it was clear as day that he was defending Chelsea but I didn't know why?. He's always expressed his hatred and disdain for Chelsea because in his words 'he hates women who are easier than a Sunday morning' which he's always said she is considering she's ran through nearly all of the guys at our school including our teachers. "Wait, you're defending this w***e?" "She's not a w***e, Demi, she's my friend" "Actually, I'm more than that, aren't I, baby?" Baby?. Why is Chelsea calling Colton baby?. "What are you talking about? what's she talking about, Colt? and why are you calling him baby?" There was a brief silence in the room before Chelsea answered Demi's questions. "Colton and I have been in a real relationship for the past two years, Demi" "What?" What?. I thought to myself at the same time as Demi. "You can't be serious?" Demi asked barely above a whisper. "Oh, I'm as serious as a heart attack, in fact...wait, do you wanna tell her baby or should I?" "Chelsea, stop please" Colton pleaded through gritted teeth. "Tell me what, hoe?" Demi asked and another brief silence filled the room before Chelsea's smug voice broke it and what she said almost caused my heart to stop beating. "I'm pregnant...Colton and I are having a baby together" WHAT?.
