Seona’s POV Once we had dinner and the bakery was closed for the day, I went downstairs to start making fudge for Eralia, Hallick on my heels. The soldier heads into the bakery, checking all the doors and windows systematically as I watch him through a c***k in the door leading from the kitchen. Once he’s satisfied, he comes back through to me, pulling a chair from the wall and placeding it by the large stainless steel table, folding his arms in that military fashion he seemed incapable of shaking.
