I wait nervously by the elevators, tapping my foot as I watch the numbers tick up from the ground floor. I’ve already been waiting for over five minutes, as the car was at the top floor when I arrived. Damn thing must have stopped at every floor on the way down, including mine before it reached the bottom and now, I’m watching the number tick up the other way again.
