Hallick’s POV
As we pull up outside of the ER, I don’t even wait for the truck to stop, kicking open Lincoln’s door and climbing out before rushing into the busy waiting room, Seona in my arms.
‘Help!’ I shout over the voices of the people who are waiting to be seen, ‘we need some help here!’
A nurse appears beside me, her lips parting slightly before she beckons me over. ‘Follow me’ she orders, turning on her heel and hurrying though some double doors into an area where cubicles are sectioned off by curtains.
‘In here’ she tells me, shoving back a curtain to reveal an empty gurney, gesturing for me to lay my woman down as she pulls out a disposable apron and ties it on.
‘Can you tell me what happened to her?’ she asks, tugging the stethoscope from around her neck and placing one end
