Seona’s POV After a few minutes of conversation, Harrison and Gage excuse themselves from the room, leaving me alone with what feels like a bodyguard on each side of me as I face the lawyer across the table. She seems unphased by the wall of strength that flanks me, leaning her elbows onto the table, hands clasped as she holds my gaze. ‘OK Seona, how about we start with you telling me why I’m here?’ the woman asks me bluntly. I glance at Mark who is studying Margo silently, ‘umm, I thought you knew . .’ I mumble, confused. The brunette nods, ‘I have Harrison’s take on the situation, but now I want yours, why do you think we are here?’ I pick at the nail on my thumb unconsciously as I try to hold her gaze, ‘umm . . because the lady at the store said to the police that Mark hurt me’ I
